@maverick, Thanks for the visuals! I believe 160 is a divided highway with signals or controlled access within the Metro Area now.
I will eventually be driving out to Pahrump by way of Bakersfield and have tossed around idea of going to Las Vegas before since the extra distance will offer better road conditions.
