Big LA Dodger Fan,

My urologist mentioned no more than 2 to 3 sticks a week to prevent scar tissue build up. I don’t know for sure if there is any other reason to limit doses or not, but the scar tissue was the only problem my doctor relayed to me. If the scar tissue is the only issue, the drug can be injected in a different site on the same side and then alternate sides from right to left every time too.

I take a 100 mg Viagra one hour before and inject .140 ml Prostaglandin just before my lover and I begin foreplay; however, that’s not recommended because an erection lasting longer than 4 hours may result. The problem with a prolonged erection is the blood isn’t circulating normally and the penis is deprived of oxygenated blood. A man must be aroused before Viagra takes effect, but Prostaglandin seems to work regardless.

I injected the drug too fast once and a hematoma resulted (probably because the drug could not be absorbed fast enough and it exerted pressure outward), so I’m careful to inject the drug slowly now. Sometimes my lover helps because when I switch to the left side it’s awkward since I’m right handed. I usually hold my penis on a towel on the bathroom sink countertop and insert the needle all the way with my right hand. Then, I depress the syringe plunger with my right hand but sometimes it sticks and I have trouble starting it slowly with only one free hand in that awkward position. This is where a second person comes in handy, and especially if I’m injecting on the left side because I’m not ambidextrous. If the needle is unintentionally moved laterally while inserted, it’s likely to bruise or bleed. If a bruise results it’s counterproductive because sex doesn’t feel as good with a sore penis.

Regards, FF
