I am interested in visiting Sheri’s Ranch to meet the ladies. But, I do not want to tell my family about this.

What are some places I can visit nearby Sheri’s Ranch?

If I tell them that I want to go to Las Vegas for a trip, they would want to know where I am going.

    rewith85man,

Wherever you say you’re going, it would behoove you to know something about the place since there may be inquisitive questions. It might be beneficial to visit briefly or research your trip’s alibi location so you’ll have a sufficient knowledge base.

Sixty miles west of Pahrump is Furnace Creek, Death Valley. Death Valley National Park has the distinction of being the largest National Park in the United States. The main points of interest are Scotty’s Castle, Badwater Basin and the Devil’s Golf Course. http://www.nps.gov/deva/index.htm

My friends and I have hiked numerous times in Death Valley but it must be done in the early morning hours due to the extreme afternoon heat.

CAUTION: There is limited wireless phone reception in most of Death Valley and if you’re injured it’s a long distance to any hospital. People must be wary of rattlesnakes because occasionally a person is bitten. Rattlesnakes take refuge in crevices and shady areas so be very observant. A woman sat at a Death Valley picnic table and was swinging her legs; she felt a sharp pain and discovered that she had inadvertently kicked a rattlesnake under the table. She was bitten and had to be rushed to a hospital over an hour away. People don’t usually die from California rattlesnake bites if treated quickly but the poison can cause the flesh to slough.

Also, Tecopa Hot Springs is another tourist attraction in the Death Valley area approximately 35 miles west of Pahrump. The highly mineralized water is known to soothe sore and achy bodies. http://www.tecopahotsprings.org/TecopaHotSprings/Hot_Springs.html

In addition, Front Sight Firearms Training is located approximately 20 miles east of Pahrump. Courses must be scheduled in advance and a Nevada non-resident CCW permit may be obtained. http://www.frontsight.com/map.asp

McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas is located 60 miles east of Pahrump. Las Vegas hosts more conventions than any other two cities in the United States. Las Vegas is the home of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. There’s NASCAR, NHRA Drags and Dirt Track racing at LVMS. http://www.lvms.com/superspeedway/

Also if you use a credit card it will NOT read “Sheri’s Ranch” and the address that pops up when search is in Las Vegas not Pahrump.

Is there a beach, mall, and/or movie theater closer to Sheri’s Ranch?

    rewith85man,
Yes, there are several shopping centers along HWY 160 in central Pahrump, which is 8 miles north of Sheri’s Ranch. Sheri’s Ranch has a pool and hot tub in their huge rear courtyard area, and a sand volleyball court. Pahrump is located in high desert at 2700 feet above sea level, so there’s plenty of sand but not many beaches nearby. Lakeside Casino and RV Park is located 3 miles north of Sheri’s Ranch on Homestead Road, and there’s a lake on their property for use by patrons and guests. http://www.lakesidecasinopahrump.com/rvpark.
I couldn’t find a listing for a Pahrump movie theater though. You might bring an adult film and watch it during a Courtesan party though, lol!

There is also the Pahrump Valley Winery close by with tours and great food. Or you got lost…. Traffic is pretty crazy in Vegas 🙂

Tecopa California is very close. Unbelievable beauty that leads to a little small town with natural hot springs, clothing optional!
