I believe that you mean this message for someone in particular, but it struck a chord in me.

For the last five years or so, I’ve been delving into my personal spirituality, concentrating on the divine feminine, as that was an area of focus not provided to me through my previously held faith.

While I don’t pretend that my husband and I’s upcoming first-time visit to Sheri’s is a spiritual quest per se, I can definitely say that for me, my reasons for going stem in a recently discovered joy in my own sexuality, my own femininity, the divine sacred feminine, and a need to celebrate it. My studies, my gut, and my path have led me into a very exploratory season with my husband (I think he’s enjoying every minute of it).

The journey, so far, has been scary and anxiety producing. When your views change at a core level, that’s to be expected. At the same time it has been full, and liberating, and joyous.

So thank you, WarriorSage, for making me think about it.

I had a further question to the vacation package. We’re getting closer to actually making this a reality. So, I called the number on the vacation page with a question (mainly – is it double since it’s my husband AND I?). I never got that far. The woman on the phone said I couldn’t book through the number… That I had to book through a travel agent.

Er… This process is rather difficult for me already – never having done it before. Now, I have explain this to a travel agent? It seemed… odd. She said I could call tomorrow and talk to a manager about how to do that, but I was wondering if anyone had insight?

My husband is very quiet. Not passive, just audibly quiet (sooooo not a screamer). But there are three specific things I can do that will bring out almost uncontrollable audible reactions, and I find that incredibly erotic that I can bring that out of him. Needless to say – I try to. A lot.

I really loved the books. I think I actually cried at least once in each of them. I had seen notices of who was going to play Christian, and I wasn’t too sure.

Then I saw the trailer.

I don’t think I’ll have a problem with either of the actors 🙂

Hi Eva,

If you’re going to be using it for school, a tablet might not have the power you need in terms of hard drive space, etc. for assignments in progress. You would probably want to go with a full laptop. Other than that, I have no advice, ’cause I’m a PC girl myself 😉

Akira, Charina, and Emma – Thanks so much! That helps out a lot.

My husband and I are choosing a few ladies to get in contact with – mainly because we figure some are bound to be unavailable at that time. Gotta admit though, it feels weird – Like I’m making dates with too many guys for one night and I’m going to have to let someone down. Kinda don’t like that part, but I suppose we have to figure out who we might hit it off with for what we’re trying to do.

I thinking that allowing for plenty of time up front, and perhaps using the bungalows is the way to go for us. That way I won’t feel rushed (which will add to my nerves).

And since I’m looking more for an experience, rather than knowing I want A, B, and C, I think that will help. We’ll definitely be getting into contact with the ladies ahead of time with reservations and such. While I know the actual negotiations happen on site, she’ll at least know in advance what I’m thinking. Frankly, I’m afraid I’ll get into the moment and clam up, and then won’t get what I’m looking for which would be on me. So, this way, I can communicate better in writing.

I also read in a review (sorry – don’t remember who’s!) that something another couple did was have a shorter smaller party the night before. The husband got to watch, but was hands off – and it was just so that his wife got to experience a little bit with the lady on her own, and that reduced the nerves a heck of a lot for their larger experience the next night. My husband thought that might be a good option for me too!

Anyway, I really appreciate your taking the time to write such thoughtful answers!

Do you know if any of the ladies specifically have a particular affinity for ushering a first-time girl through this? (Let’s face it – my husband’s gonna be happy any way you slice it. I’m the nervous one.)
